Dad saws each element of the fan from the pre-machined block drilled through the middle, and then sands it on two sides. We don't have a CNC milling cutter or a laser cutter, so the different elements won't be unnaturally perfect, and somehow they still are.
I'm coming after Dad, and I'm guiding the wood in an even more perfect direction with small, fine sandpaper, then comes the multiple oiling, drilling, gluing of screws, and finally the tiny branding made of leather and wood.
How to treat a wooden fan?
